CasaVivid vs AutoHDR for real estate agents

Last reviewed October 2026. Third-party features and prices change, so check each vendor’s site before you buy.

AutoHDR is one of the most widely used automated editors in real estate photography. It merges HDR brackets and adds twilight, sky replacement, object removal, lawn greening, virtual staging, fire in the fireplace, TV screens, repainting, lot lines and pins and privacy blur, with prompt-based re-edits. It plugs into photographer platforms such as Spiro, HDPhotoHub, Tonomo and Aryeo.

CasaVivid covers much of the same ground, but it is built for the agent working from finished or self-shot photos rather than for a photographer’s high-volume workflow.

When AutoHDR is the better choice

If you are a photographer or editing team processing hundreds of shoots a month, AutoHDR’s HDR is mature, its automation is broad, and it connects to the delivery platforms you already use. Many photographers already deliver through it, so your photos may have been through AutoHDR before you ever see them.

When CasaVivid is the better choice

If you are an agent with a few listings a month, AutoHDR’s paid plans start at $265 a month. CasaVivid is built for working on a listing yourself: stage the empty rooms (with the same furniture across every angle), click to remove what you don’t want, fix the sky and lawn, blur private details, and send a share link, on your own photos or your photographer’s.

Where CasaVivid fits

CasaVivid is a web app for agents, brokers and property managers. Use photos you shot yourself on a phone or camera, or the edited photos your photographer delivered. Stage empty rooms, remove what shouldn’t be in the shot, fix the sky and the lawn, blur private details, and share the finished set, all in one project and in under 30 seconds a photo.

It is new and in open beta, free to use while the beta lasts. There are no human editors and no public API yet.
