AI edits change what's in the photo: a blue sky instead of a grey one, a green lawn, a lit fireplace. They're on the AI Edit tab of Photo Edit.
You only see the edits that fit the photo. CasaVivid analyzes each photo and shows, for example, TV screen only when it finds a TV, and Season only on exteriors.
Steps
- Open the photo in Photo Edit, on the AI Edit tab.
- Pick one or more edits. You can combine several in one run.
- Optional: type extra wishes in Additional instructions, for example "make the front door navy blue".
- Choose AI Engine and Output resolution (see below).
- Click Run AI edit. It usually takes 30–60 seconds, and the result is saved as a new version.

Twilight is a choice under Sky replacement. Sky replacement and Time of day can't be used together; picking one resets the other.
AI Engine and resolution
- AI Engine: Standard (default) or Premier. Try Premier if Standard's result isn't right.
- Output resolution: 1K (preview, fastest) (default) or 4K (print quality). Try edits at 1K, then upscale the one you keep, or run it again at 4K.
Custom instructions
Additional instructions lets you ask for something in plain English, on its own or with other edits. If no edits are shown for a photo, this is the way to make a change.
Check the result
AI edits redraw parts of the photo. Compare the result with the Original before using it. If a wall, window or fixture changed, delete that version and run the edit again. See Check AI results.
Limit
Each photo can have a limited number of AI edits. If you reach it, you'll see "This image has been edited the maximum number of times". Contact us if you need more.
