You can add photos three ways: from your computer, from Dropbox, or by importing the photos on the public listing.
From your computer
- Open the project.
- Drag photos onto the bar that says Drop images from your device, or click to browse, or click it to pick files.
- The first time, confirm you have the rights to the photos and click Confirm & continue.
- Wait for the upload to finish. You'll see Uploading photos… and then Processing your photos…, while CasaVivid saves the photos, makes previews, reads camera details, groups bracketed shots and analyzes each photo. Analysis can take a minute or so.
You can upload JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and RAW files, up to 100 MB each and 100 files at a time. See Supported files and cameras.
Where your photos land
- Single photos (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC) go to the Photos tab, ready to edit or stage.
- Bracketed exposures (several shots of the same view at different brightness) are grouped automatically on the HDR-Brackets tab. See Brackets and iPhone photos.
- 360° panoramas belong on the 3D photos tab. Upload them while that tab is open. See 360° photos.
- RAW files are never shown on the Photos tab. They can't be edited directly: merge them into an HDR first, then edit the result.

Duplicates and hidden photos
- If you upload a file that's identical to one already in the project, it's skipped and you're told which files were already there.
- Photos that may break our content policy are hidden, and a message tells you how many.
If something goes wrong, see Upload problems.
