Many MLSs and some state laws require photos changed with AI to be labelled. CasaVivid can add the label for you when you download.
The labels
| Photo | Label |
|---|---|
| Virtually staged (including multi-angle staging) | Virtually Staged |
| Changed with AI edits (sky, lawn, object removal and so on) | Digitally Altered |
The label is placed in the bottom-right corner. HDR merges, manual adjustments, upscaled photos and originals never get a label.
Add labels
Labels are off by default. Turn them on when you download:
- One photo: in the Download photo window, tick Include AI disclaimer.
- ZIP of the project: in Download photos, tick Include AI disclaimer on staged/edited photos. Only staged and AI-edited photos get a label; the others in the ZIP are untouched.
- Share link: your client sees the same option when they download staged or edited photos.
The label is added to the downloaded copy only. Your photo in CasaVivid stays unlabelled, so you can download it with or without a label at any time.
Check your MLS rules
Rules differ between MLSs and states. Some also ask you to include the unedited photo, or to say in the listing remarks that photos are virtually staged. Check your MLS's current rules before publishing.
