Select & Remove Objects erases only what you pick and leaves everything else alone. Use it for a bin in the driveway, a laundry basket, a car, or one chair too many.
Steps
- Open the photo in Photo Edit. On the AI Edit tab, turn on Select & Remove Objects.
- Wait while CasaVivid finds the objects in the photo. The first time takes about 10–15 seconds; after that it's instant for that version.
- Choose what to remove: - Hover over the photo to highlight an object in yellow, and click to select it. Selected objects turn red. - Or tick objects in the list.
- Click Remove 2 objects (with your number).
The result is saved as a new version.
Tips
- Overlapping objects: clicking the photo picks the smallest object under the pointer, for example a pillow rather than the bed it's on. To pick the larger object, use the list.
- Outline or Box: switch how detected objects are highlighted. Outline follows each object's shape.
- Fixtures such as lights, ceiling fans and built-ins are listed last with a fixture tag. They usually convey with the sale, so remove them with care.
- To clear your selection, click Clear.
Object removal runs on its own
While objects are selected, the other AI Edit options are turned off. Run the removal first, then run other edits on the result.
Remove everything automatically
- Declutter tidies small clutter and personal items across the whole photo automatically.
- Remove furniture empties the whole room.
Both are in AI edits. Use Select & Remove Objects when you want to choose exactly what goes.
If no objects are found
If you see "No removable objects found in this photo", try AI edits such as Declutter, or describe what to remove in Additional instructions.
